422 GNGTS 2016 S essione 2.3 The analysis has been carried out considering the earthquake of August 24, 2016 (1:36:32 UTC) having a magnitude 6.0 as input, using the external ground channels (Ch.1 and 2) with a PGA of 0.296 g and 0.538 g, for the x and y component respectively. The results predicted by SMAV model are computed through the software VaSCO-smav (Valuation of Structural Conditions of Operativity via smav), coded using Matlab programming language and specifically designed for the SMAV methodology application (Acunzo et al. , 2015). Accelerations, displacements and inter-story drift ratios are calculated using the correlation between the maximum roof drift with the expected frequency shift. This correlation is expressed by three different curves corresponding to the mean value, the 16 th percentile and the 84 th percentile of the expected frequency drop for each roof drift level, assuming them to have a lognormal distribution.
