Potentiality of NN in the solution of non-linear problems are well known and also in this case the task has been solved well. The proposed methodology is robust and can solve the acoustic equation faster than classical methods, especially with high-frequency source wavelets. The main potentialities of the work were identified in: very low computational cost, high prediction speed and the possibility to solve, without knowing the physical law behind the phenomenon, complex non-linear problems.
