In Appennino centro-settentrionale i valori inter-evento sono prossimi allo zero o debolmente negativi e questo potrebbe essere dovuto al fatto che la maggior parte dei dati utilizzati per calibrare la Bindi et. Al (2011) deriva da quest’area. Lo sviluppo futuro riguarda una possibile zonazione del valore del parametro inter-evento, in funzione delle principali unità tettoniche, per la generazione di mappe di scuotimento empiriche basate su GMM e dati osservati.
