Session 3.2 ___ GNGTS 2023 Fig1: a) Proceq GP8100; b) First phase for testing this methodology; c) GPR investigation consisted of 3 transversal lines Results and interpretation After the creation of a database of radar section (over than 3000 sections) in Cad environment, we analysed every founded hyperbola that represents rebars (fig.2a) and marked with circles; red circles indicate rebars with a depth less than 35 mm, green circles indicate rebars with a depth greater than 35 mm. Moreover, the centre line of precast segments is added to better distinguish the specular rebars (yellow line in fig. 2a). Once the punctual elements have been positioned, the relative coordinates, in terms of depth, of each point have been extracted in a single file of three columns. All the information obtained from the processing was entered in an excel sheet (fig.2b) containing: o Rebars depth in mm, highlighting the depth values ​ lower than 35 mm in red; o Arithmetic mean of the rebars for each TID and total mean of rebars; o Standard deviation of the rebars for each TID and total standard deviation of the rebars depth, as required by the client;
