GNGTS 2023 - Atti del 41° Convegno Nazionale
Session 1.1 - POSTER GNGTS 2023 In other words, although it is possible that the seismogenic sources that generated the historical Crati Valley earthquakes and the instrumental events of the recent decades may be linked to the known N-S faults at the surface, given also the magnitude values attributed to these earthquakes and the consequent size of the areas of coseismic rupture, it is likely that these remain confined at depth and have not reached the surface topography since at least the late Middle Pleistocene. Acknowledgments This work was undertaken as part of a collaboration between DPC and ITALFERR. The ERT was performed by PROGEO.
