GNGTS 2023 - Atti del 41° Convegno Nazionale
Session 1.2 GNGTS 2023 seismic station located inside the TSVP recorded no marked tremor increase. However, during the same period this sector of Mt. Etna experienced a small slow seismic event as evidenced by a modest upward jump in the time-series of continuous ELAC GNSS station of the INGV monitoring network. Confrontation between the methane concentration and the geodetic time-series highlights a good correlation between the two signals, suggesting the influence from a common stress source.
