GNGTS 2023 - Atti del 41° Convegno Nazionale
Session 1.3 GNGTS 2023 vapour states) as approximation to characterize the modelled fluid. The seepage of meteoric water through the high permeable volcanic rocks is also modelled. The model time evolution starts 4.2 ka and, at the end of the simulation, we observe the activation of a convective cell below the considered area, where the 250°C isotherm reaches ~500 m b.s.l.. We compare the retrieved results with the available data, as the measured temperature at the CF23 well and the resistivity model proposed by Siniscalchi et al. (2019). The second model is performed within the same discretized numerical domain and takes into account the previous fluid pore pressure modelled field; in this stage, we search for the pressure source parameters that better explains the observed ground deformations of Campi Flegrei caldera. The analysed dataset comes from the processing of SAR images acquired by Sentinel-1A/B satellites constellation during the 2020 – 2022 time interval. For this model, the retrieved stress field within the caldera represents the crucial output that is here spatially compared with the hypocentres distribution. In conclusion, we remark that the proposed study significantly contributes to improve the knowledge about the role of fluids migration in the framework of the magmatic processes.
