GNGTS 2023 - Atti del 41° Convegno Nazionale

Session 2.1 GNGTS 2023 components. Four different methodologies were used to calculate the Ss factor: i. Peak ground acceleration (PGA) ratio defined as: = ii. Maximum spectral acceleration ratio: = iii. Short period amplification factor: = 0.07 0.40 ∫ 0.07 0.40 ∫ iv. Intermediate period amplification factor: = 0.7 2.0 ∫ 0.7 2.0 ∫ The last two methodologies have been defined according to the update of current Eurocode 8 Part 1 (2021-draft). The Cc coefficient of NTC18, which controls the corner period of the spectrum (T C ) was defined as the ratio between the oscillator period corresponding to maximum spectral acceleration at the free surface of the soil deposit and the same parameter at the rocky site. The soil factors computed from the real recordings of the composite accelerometric dataset were compared with those calculated by Andreotti et al . (2018) using numerical simulations as well as those proposed by the update of Eurocode 8 Part 1 (2021-draft).
