Session 2.1 - POSTER GNGTS 2023 electrometer, and a couple of electrodes (with the same configuration as those of CIEN). These latter are two long horizontal thin wires, 10 m long, and 1 mm thick, fixed at about 8–10 m off the ground and oriented approximately N-S and the E-W, perpendicular to each other, as all the other CIEN stations. They are meant to monitor electromagnetic phenomena near the highly producing CO 2 source, where gas escapes from the ground entering the atmosphere through both water and water-free cavities, thus verifying a possible kind of coupling between lithospheric phenomena and the above atmosphere, through air electrification.
