Session 2.1 - POSTER GNGTS 2023 This stratigraphic arrangement shows almost similar spectral responses for both earthquakes: it amplifies lower periods compared to point 1, between 0.2-0.6 s. The high thickness of tuff lithotype (17 m) leads to spectral accelerations of 1 g around the period 0.09 s, far greater than those induced at the previous point. This high thickness of the deep layers, having higher seismic velocities than the more superficial deposits, explains the amplification at high periods.
