About emissions of CO2 (C111) the first three stages of cement manufacturing listed in the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) of the product (corresponding to the A1-A3 phases of the Buzzi Unicem industry) and reported in "Report Cementi 2021" are among those that produce emissions. Sardinia's reference factory is situated close to Nuoro. The emissions are estimated to be 862 [kgCO2e] (Siniscola factory average), which is slightly higher than the industry standard. In order to construct the model according to the seven dimensions, the emissions parameter has also been added in the BIM environment modeling. The total is then increased by the predicted emissions for the A4 phase. By comparing the number of trucks (heavy vehicles) used for each alternative, the emissions connected to the transportation from the manufacturer to the industry and from that facility to the construction site are estimated.
