Maps for values of Vs30 and site parameters (Empirical transfer functions, TF, Amplification Factor, FA, fundamental frequency, f0, etc.) have been already evaluated in previous studies (Forte et al. 2019, Mori et al. 2020, Falcone et al. 2021) and they constitute the basic dataset to test the comparison with the experimental results. In the first attempt, we have selected test sites on a national, regional or local scale for which we have experimental ground motion data and analysis. We then have collected all the available geophysical, geological and seismological information and organized them in a dedicated geographic information system (GIS). If data are not available, we have planned new geophysical surveys and data analysis to infer site metadata and parameters. The goal is to test whether there are systematic errors in the estimates of near-surface lithostratigraphic amplifications at test sites for which experimentally determined values are available. Another goal will be the study of parameters which best identify and quantify site response so that they can be used as proxies for site response, and to extend them to areas that are not directly observed. Through the use of cluster and correlation analyses, the earthquakes recorded
