Session 2.2 GNGTS 2023 Overall, our results evidence the goodness of VIPE in predicting the intensity data within the ShakeMap algorithm ensuring the generation of accurate macroseismic intensity maps for historical earthquakes in Italy. Since VIPE is computed in ShakeMap by combining the GMM by Bindi et al. (2011) and the GMICEs by Oliveti et al. (2022), we also cross-verified the consistency of these relationships.
