Session 2.2 GNGTS 2023 Analyses Of Criticalities On The Use Of Satellite Data On Deformable Infrastructures: the “Ponte Della Musica-Armando Trovajoli” Case Study F. C. Ponzo, R. Ditommaso, G. Auletta, N. Lamarucciola, P. Ielpo University of Basilicata, Viale dell’Ateneo Lucano, 85100, Potenza, Italy Structural health monitoring represents a strategic tool for real time assessment of damage and/or deterioration of civil/strategic structures and infrastructures after a critical event and/or due to ageing. In this work, data retrieved from both an experimental campaign performed on the “Ponte della Musica – Armando Trovajoli”, using ambient vibration recordings and satellite information provided by Italian Space Agency and analysed by CNR-IREA, have been used to characterise the real bridge behaviour over time. The work is based on results achieved within the DPC-Reluis 2019-2021 and 2022-2024 agreements - research line “WP6 – Structural Health Monitoring and Satellite Data”. This work focuses on the difficulties observed in some cases to obtain useful information by differential synthetic aperture radar interferometry technique applied on deformable bridges. In order to overcome to the above-mentioned problem, in this work several linear and nonlinear calibrated digital twins have been used to analyse the possible influence of temperature on the loss of satellite information.
