The rebuilding process is usually long and complex, with many economic and social implications. On the other hand, an in-depth knowledge of the territory can certainly guide the reconstruction and reduce the impact over the population of any future catastrophic events. In the 2009 a strong earthquake destroyed the city of L’Aquila and many surrounding villages causing 308 victims and 1600 injured people. After this event the city was newly rebuild, indeed L’Aquila is a region having high seismic risk and suffers many other destructive earthquakes in the past (Tertulliani, 2009; Galli, 2009) Open Data Ricostruzione (OPR) ( https://opendataricostruzione.gssi.it/home) and Open Data L’Aquila (OPA) (https://www.opendatalaquila.it/) are two completely open repository, developed by the Center for Urban Informatics and Modelling (CUIM) of the Gran Sasso Science Institute. These projects are born with the aim of making available for citizens and institutions all the data related to the rebuilding and increase the knowledge of the area. In more detail OPR collects information about the technical and economical aspects of rebuilding process for both the L’Aquila city and of the villages in the cratere sismico, namely in the region that was seriously damaged during the earthquake. In this repository the user can find data and
