GNGTS 2023 - Atti del 41° Convegno Nazionale

Session 2.3 GNGTS 2023 are mainly raster files (GeoTif), including RGB orthomosaics and grayscale digital elevation models (DEM), with a resolution of approximately 2cm/pixel and 6cm/pixel respectively. The products resulting from the processing of the mentioned rasters with GIS software (QGis 3.14), such as the water accumulation map, the solar radiation map (Moudry, 2019), the digital terrain models (DTM), also allowed the processing of vector data. Using the shapefiles available in the Abruzzo Region Cartographic Portal as a base layer, it was possible to populate the data matrix from which the shapefiles are composed, with quantities such as the average height of the buildings, the average annual solar radiation, the surface water accumulation. To obtain the aforementioned resolutions on the ground, it was necessary to find the right compromise between the aircraft's flight altitude, flight times and data processing times, taking into consideration the basic rules of aerophotogrammetric surveying (Seifert, 2019). The portal will soon be enriched with a 3D section, in which the point clouds and meshes of the most relevant architectural and archaeological emergencies will be made available using the 3DHOP (3D Heritage Online Presenter) product developed by the Visual Computing Lab of ISTI-CNR (Potenziani, 2015).
