Session 1.2 GNGTS 2024 Overview of the methods Results Figure 2 shows the main results obtained for the Etna case study. Displacement maps before the 24 December 2018 erupton (T1 period: January 2016 - December 2018) show general infaton reaching 7 cm/yr at summit areas. Eastward and westward movements are recorded along the eastern and western fanks, respectvely. Instead, afer the December event (T2 period: January 2019 - July 2021) we observe that the summit infaton decreases the spatal extent and localized patches of subsidence occur inside the Valle del Bove depression.
