ResidenHal buildings The method adopted here for developing exposure maps of residenCal buildings consists of refining the exposure model of Pibore et al. (2020) by increasing its spaCal resoluCon and by beber characterizing the residenCal building typologies. The building typologies used in the exposure model of Pibore et al. (2020) were defined during the Earthquake Model Central Asia project (EMCA, hbp://www.emca-gem.org/) and will be referred to here as ‘EMCA’ typologies. Each typology and sub-typology is associated to a descripCon and a taxonomy, which can also specify if the structure is designed to be Earthquake Resistant (ERD).
