GNGTS 2024 - Atti del 42° Convegno Nazionale

Session 3.1 GNGTS 2024 Upper Miocene siliciclastc deposits and Mio-Cretaceous carbonate platorm in the area of study, characterized by strong acoustc impedance contrast. The identfed reservoir structures will be simulated according to their geothermal potental. Seismic atributes (i.e., semblance and pseudo- relief) were applied to identfy discontnuites caused by faults in the fractured carbonates. Conclusions This approach of seismic atribute analysis is extremely useful for geothermal exploraton of similar felds and reservoirs with a strong AI contrast and the constructon of more predictve statc and dynamic reservoir models based on discontnuity detected by atribute analysis and seismic interpretaton. Seismic atributes are very useful in characterizing faults and fractures also in 2D seismic data volumes. The pseudo-relief atribute applicaton made the interpretaton of the main unconformites and structural features possible.
